Options Counseling and Family Services provides life skills and parental training, child welfare, and resource management services to under-served children, adults, and families. Provides individual and group supervision to Master’s level mental health therapists, primarily therapists serving child and adult clients on the Oregon Health Plan. The supervisor will provide oversight and support of administrative procedures and paperwork requirements to ensure compliance with quality improvement policies and contract requirements. Ability and willingness to work within a managed care structure. The supervisor may also maintain a caseload of clients. Should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management and record keeping software. Education and/or Experience:
Must possess at least a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology. Must be licensed as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW and have two years of post-licensure experience. Must have a total of five years’ mental health experience working with children, families and adults with a minimum of three years’ mental health experience with children and families. Prefer adult experience that includes work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Two years’ experience in clinical supervision is preferred. Ability to provide supervision of therapists towards licensure is optimal. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have respectful, open, unbiased, accepting attitude toward clients and their families.
