Your Role:

As a vital member of our dynamic microbusiness, you'll be supported to tap into your entrepreneurial spirit. You'll ensure operational support for innovative programs and streamlined systems while forging strong connections with our dedicated and growing community.

We anticipate 50% of the role will be dedicated to internal business operations and 50% will be client-facing and in support of our transformational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Workspace Management: Design, implement, and document paperless, efficient, and automated digital workspaces to enhance productivity and sustainability.
  2. Financial Management and Goal Tracking: Oversee finance processes and budgeting, including creating and tracking revenue and expenditure goals, to secure financial health and support long-term strategic planning.
  3. Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies for pipelining, converting, and onboarding clients to reach revenue goals and extend our impact.
  4. Client Relationships & Management: Create and maintain systems and processes to ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after program delivery to foster deep caring, strong relationships, and increased client retention, upsells, and repeat engagement.
  5. Apprentice and Associate Program Management: Manage relationships with our team of LJIST Apprentices and Associates, thinking well about them as individuals and a group, while strategically and efficiently integrating them into the business in ways that foster a collaboration and engagement.

About You:

We're looking for a highly motivated and committed team member with initiative, vision, and grace to support us through our next phase of growth. As a plus, you have experience working in small businesses or on small teams and understand the need to be flexible in a wide array of responsibilities.

Key Skills/Attributes:

  1. Advanced Project Management Skills: Designing, implementing, documenting, and training our team on a variety of systems to support the overall functioning of our business and deepen the impact of our programs.
  2. Extreme Attention to Detail: Ability to track details and nuance, including many unique client contexts and relationships at the same time.
  3. Exceptional Interpersonal and Relationship Building Skills: Proficiency in sales, marketing, client engagement, and retention strategies with the ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships remotely.
  4. Creative Problem Solving: The ability to strategically address barriers in accomplishing core responsibilities and implementing systems.
  5. Strong Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, basic bookkeeping, financial analysis, and goal tracking.
  6. Gracefully Able to Embrace Feedback: Strong self-awareness, adept at recognizing personal patterns, and proficient in receiving and offering feedback that fosters growth.
  7. Reliable and Honest: Demonstrate transparency, openness, authenticity, and honesty, ensuring follow-through and being true to one's word.
  8. Emotional Resiliency: Experienced in inner reflection or mirror work, adept at understanding and openly engaging with others' feelings without resorting to caretaking or enabling behaviors.

Some of the software we use include: Microsoft Office and Outlook, Dropbox, HubSpot, Asana, Notion, Kajabi, and Zoom. We are a PC office.

Location: This position is open to candidates located in or near the Portland, Oregon metro area. Hybrid work is possible, but candidate must be able to come into the office regularly on the schedule we determine together.

Compensation: LJIST operates with a 4-day work week (36 hours). Base salary will be commensurate with experience, expected range is $75-$85K annually.
