Communications Manager
Salary Range: $65,000 - $68,000 per year for a 35 hour week, plus excellent benefits

HereTogether seeks a dynamic Communications Manager to amplify our mission of ensuring everyone in the Portland Metro region has a safe place to call home. We are a broad-based coalition that developed and passed the largest per capita investment in homeless services in the U.S. and continue to advocate for its full potential.
In this pivotal role, you'll craft compelling narratives, nurture vital relationships, and strategically engage diverse audiences. Your words will inspire action as you highlight initiatives and foster community support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop impactful content across digital platforms
- Create original, human-centered stories showcasing lived experiences
- Build collaborative relationships with key partners and media
- Coordinate and lead communications trainings
- Contribute to fundraising efforts and policy priorities
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional writing skills to evoke shared values and inspire
- Versatility across communication channels
- Expertise in audience-centric, adaptive messaging
- Proven relationship-building and media relations abilities
- Strong organizational and training coordination skills
- Familiarity with trauma-informed storytelling approaches
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $65,000 - $68,000 per year
