Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Coordinator
Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to provide critical administrative support to our Global Sourcing and Supply Chain team. In this dual-capacity role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our department's visitors and vendors while managing the "behind-the-scenes" logistics of our procurement workflows. You will be responsible for routing intake requests, assisting with contract compliance, and maintaining departmental training standards. The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who excels in a high-volume environment where accuracy and professional communication are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
• Departmental Gatekeeper: Professionally greet visitors, monitor guest security protocols, and issue badges in accordance with corporate security procedures.
• Workflow Coordination: Monitor and analyze SCM Help Intake requests and departmental mailboxes. Ensure all data is accurate before routing inquiries to the appropriate team members for action.
• Contract & Compliance Support: Assist with contract processing, form management, and compliance reporting. Help develop and maintain templates and guidance documents for the procurement team.
• Office Operations: Organize essential office functions, including supply procurement and vendor relationship management. Ensure all office equipment is maintained for optimum efficiency.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain the Departmental Desk Reference Training Manual. Document and communicate procedural actions, irregularities, and ongoing training needs to the team.
• Communication Lead: Prepare general correspondence and mailings for employees and external partners, ensuring all communications align with corporate policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (Minimum age 18).
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of general clerical procedures and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
• Sharp attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
• Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, including those of a confidential nature.
• Emergency Readiness: Demonstrated ability to act swiftly and maintain composure in emergency situations.
• Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
