What we do...The Planning Division works as a team with other departments in this thriving city to guide future growth, improvement, and development. These efforts focus on maintaining the quality of life for all residents and promoting a robust economy. We work with the City Council, Planning Commission, the Development Review Board, the private and nonprofit sectors, and government partners to both ensure new development that helps the city achieve Wilsonville's vision, and also to determine the vision for the next 20 years.
Who we are looking for...You are highly skilled, motivated, outgoing, and enjoy working independently or as part of a collaborative team. You are mostly self-directed, but know when to involve others. Your knowledge of long-range and current planning gives you the confidence and the ability to provide in-depth, technical reports and manage delicate and sometimes challenging subjects. You convey complex information in a clear, concise, and positive manner, and use your keen analytical skills to collect and classify facts involved in decision-making processes.
