Powell's Books, the nation's top independent bookseller, is looking for an experienced Corporate Controller. This position is responsible for the company's financial recording, including production of periodic financial reports, analysis and interpretation. This position has oversight for the Corporate Accounting Department and Cash Reconciliation office, and implements and furthers the Company's vision within their team and the corporation as a whole.
The successful candidate must have a BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Accounting, and five or more years' demonstrated experience in full cycle accounting, including audits. Experience with managerial reporting required, with multi-location and retail environment accounting experience strongly preferred.
The starting wage range for this position is $120K per year, depending on experience.
