Salary: $90K-$110K Industry: Manufacturing
What Matters Most:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in service and product technical support in the capital equipment industry
- Proficiency in MS Office required; Experience with CRM and ERP systems strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 20% travel expected
Your New Role:
Tap into your ability to lead a high-performing customer support team and introduce a fresh approach to people and process in this newly-minted Director of Service role. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll harness your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to mentor a seasoned and very dedicated team. A knowledge of mechanical products will be helpful! With the introduction of this role, you’ll take on the opportunity to make it your own by developing training programs, leading KPIs to drive excellent customer support, and designing strategic programs that result in quality outcomes and continued business growth. To succeed here, you’ll need some experience working with dealers, distributors, regional sales managers, and inside sales reps both domestically and internationally. You’ll evaluate department metrics and interface with the sales team in a bid for continued business growth. Other important deliverables on your agenda will include designing phone service scripts for troubleshooting and ongoing training, and participating in the creation of international service plans.
