Job Title: Campaign Manager

Location: House districts throughout Oregon

Compensation: Salary is $4,000 - $5,500/month + bilingual pay differential where applicable. Benefits include employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and severance. FuturePAC is a union shop represented by the Campaign Workers Guild.

Hours: Full-time

Campaign Manager Job Description

 

FuturePAC is seeking highly motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic individuals to serve as campaign managers in targeted state legislative races throughout Oregon. Tthe Campaign Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the campaign and the successful implementation of the campaign plan. 

This is a temporary job through the November 2024 General Election. Work will be site-based throughout the state, and preference will be given to applicants who live in or are willing to relocate to targeted districts. Relocation assistance may be provided. 

You will thrive in this position if you are self-motivated, an active communicator willing to lead, a creative thinker, skilled at mastering new technology, and comfortable engaging strangers.



KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign plan that encompasses fundraising, communications, organizing and outreach, and stakeholder management. 
  • Collaborate with FuturePAC and a team of consultants to execute paid voter contact plans. 
  • Represent the campaign in public spaces and create engaging social media content to reach and mobilize voters.
  • Manage the candidate’s time. 

 

Fundraising 

Work with the candidate to raise funds through candidate call time and fundraising events, as well as tracking fundraising and cashflow.

 

Candidate Management

Manage the candidate’s schedule, social media, fundraising, and community outreach efforts. Ensure the candidate is prepared for events and interviews and has the information they need to be successful.  

 

Field and Organizing

Work with FuturePAC staff to draft and implement a field plan to meet voter outreach benchmarks. If applicable, oversee the campaign’s field manager/staff. 

 

Media Relations

Serve as the campaign contact for local and statewide media, draft press releases, and prepare candidates for press opportunities with the support of FuturePAC and communications consultants.
