Description
Blink is looking for a Corporate Controller who is a strong financial leader with experience working in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will be responsible for timely reporting of financial results, maintaining a strong internal control environment, and overseeing the general accounting function and operations.
What you will be doing:
P&L analysis, risk identification, and proactive solutions to achieve financial goals.
Develop annual budgets across all offices and divisions and manage the preparation of monthly budget to actual analysis.
Provide financial recommendations and solutions to achieve growth and meet company goals.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, which includes project accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
Ensure accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation for revenue recognition.
Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
Provide monthly reporting analysis to executive management.
Improve reporting and forecasting visibility by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
Work with the project accountant to closely monitor compliance with client contracts.
Manage internal and external audits with parent company and internal auditors.
Coordinate the preparation of the tax returns with Mphasis tax team and external CPA firm.
Coordinate and manage fiscal year budgeting and forecasting.
Support process standardization and integration with parent company.
What we are looking for:
5+ years of experience in a controller or assistant controller role.
5 years with a public accounting firm.
Experience working for a public multi-divisional company is preferred for this role.
Experience with internal controls requirements under Sarbanes Oxley.
Experience working in a professional services firm.
Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA preferred.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with enterprise-level accounting and/or ERP systems.
Financial management experience including development of financial analysis, preparation of annual budgets, and management of accounting resources.
Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
Strong written, oral, and polished interpersonal communication skills. This position will interact with multiple divisions and senior management.
Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire and influence across all levels within the organization.
$157,500 - $196,500 a year
