About Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest
Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest is an award-winning program serving youth in Portland, Seattle and SW Washington to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold! Our professionally trained staff and volunteers focus on holistic youth developmentand a pro-girl inclusive environment, providing mentorship, safe spaces, and programming that address the unique challenges girls face. We provide our participants – particularly youth from low-income communities and youth of color who experience greater inequities – with opportunities to grow, lead, and fully participate. As the Pacific Northwest affiliate of Girls Inc., we have experienced tremendous growth as a region and have an exciting opportunity to further our strong and increasing demand in Seattle. We’re seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader who can bring strategic leadership, fundraising and expansion expertise, and a true passion for empowering girls and young women.

- Relationship Building & Strategic Alignment
- Forge strong relationships with staff, board members, donors, and partners. Align the organization around a clear mission and strategic vision, ensuring we are united in our goals and brand identity.
- Programs & Organizational Development
- Get to know and assess our current programs, strengths, and operational structure, ensuring we have the optimal board, staff and resources to scale and thrive.
- Fundraising & Financial Stability
- Diversify and strengthen fundraising through a sustainable strategy that balances revenue streams from individuals, corporations, government, and major donors, while ensuring financial health through effective budget and grant cycle planning.
- Brand Awareness & Market Expansion
- Increase our visibility in Seattle, utilizing our strong brand of girl empowerment to attract new supporters, donors, and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in a human service field, business or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership and management positions.
- Demonstrated experience with youth development programming.
- Strong board governance and relationship experience.
Hybrid Work & Flexible Location: Reside in Portland or Seattle metro areas, with weekly presence in Portland
