The Team
The OHS Philanthropy Team, part of the larger Advancement Team (encompassing marketing, communications, corporate partnerships, events, and giving), is tasked with soliciting gifts from our diverse donor audiences.
The Position
The Manager of Corporate Partnerships and Community Engagement plays a key role in this high-performing team, focusing on building and strengthening corporate and community partnerships in Salem and the mid-Willamette Valley. This entrepreneurial position requires strategic thinking and a goal-driven mindset. The manager will represent OHS in the community, develop partnerships through research, event attendance, and association involvement, and create compelling proposals to drive engagement and support for our mission.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Engagement:

Represent OHS as our primary brand ambassador in Salem and surrounding communities by joining and attending chamber and association events, community events, OHS-hosted events and other areas where relationships can be made, and new partnerships can flourish.

Develop and execute ongoing activities to achieve the goals of the Corporate and Foundations team. These activities include setting clear objectives, deliverables, establishing deadlines and milestones.
Corporate Partnerships:

Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create materials showcasing the impact of corporate and foundation support, tap into networks and audiences of partners, and build OHS’ brand through key partnerships.

Experienced and adept at using fundraising software and databases, as well as CRM tools, to track donor relationships, and generate acknowledgments.

Possess strong clerical skills, high attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to carry out projects and tasks accurately and efficiently.

Able to exercise sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor during all interactions with the public, partner agencies, donors, staff, and volunteers.
Work Environment Conditions & Physical Requirements
This position interacts and collaborates will all levels of the organization, including OHS staff, executive team members, donors, general-public, external vendors, volunteers, and supporters. Contact and communication is carried out through face-to-face, telephone and digital interactions. Excellent networking and communication skills are essential to the success of this role. Communication must be clear, understandable, professional and respectful in all circumstances.

Must be able to lift, move, restrain, guide, or manage an animal weighing up to 150 lbs. on a leash on an occasional basis.
