Job Summary:
This position is responsible for a broad range of administrative and program coordination duties for Morrison’s Infant & Early Childhood programs. The Administrative Coordinator ensures smooth operation of early childhood programing through processing of client enrollments/charts, group and event/training support, routine office duties as assigned, and regular coordination with multiple internal Morrison departments.\

Program: Early Childhood Consultation

Child and Family Consultation is a service that screens children and consults with parents, early childhood care and education staff, and other providers about plans to support individual children. Program-Level Consultation supports early childhood care and education staff to build capacity to support children’s social and emotional skills. This includes providing staff training and development, regarding general early childhood social, emotional, and behavioral issues, and support for managing early behavioral challenges in preschool children. Program-Level Consultation also provides teacher assessments and coaching, using evidence-based models to build early care and education staff’s capacity to improve classroom practices.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • · Assist with daily administrative operations of the program, including (but not limited to): purchasing of office/program supplies, filing, photocopying/scanning, typing, faxing, data entry, recordkeeping, answering phone, greeting visitors and answering questions; data entry in electronic health records; assist with verification of client eligibility for services; monitoring petty cash and submitting monthly reports; setting up and managing spreadsheets and databases, producing reports, compiling information and sometimes analyzing results.

    · Provides coordination and assistance for parent group services including identifying and coordinating food delivery with various vendors, purchasing of food, and delivery of food to community sites as assigned.

    · Coordinate needs for meetings, groups, trainings, and events: for example, send out invitations and maintaining roster of attendees, arrange food and beverage service, prepare certificates for trainings, take meeting notes as assigned.

    · Assist with hiring on onboarding process of new program employees: organization of resumes, scheduling of interviews, reference checks and other hiring processes as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
A typical background for the person who can fulfill the duties of this position is as follows:

  • · High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    · 2 or more years progressive employment experience in an office setting
    · Proficient in using Word processing, Excel spreadsheets, databases and email applications.

Valued Experience:

  • · Bilingual language skills (Spanish), verbal and written

Other Requirements:

  • · Able to pass a comprehensive criminal history background investigation

Starting Pay Range:

Admin Coordinator: $16.50- $17.55

Admin Coordinator Bilingual (Spanish): $17.99- $19.13
