Role Summary
The Gift Processing & Data Specialist is a paid, professional role that supports our Development Team by ensuring accurate, timely gift processing and high-quality data management. This role is central to meeting fundraising goals and requires precision, initiative, and strong collaboration with both Development and Finance colleagues.

What You’ll Do

  • Review and process pledges, donations, grants, and contributions across multiple giving channels
  • Reconcile gift revenue in partnership with Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain and update donor records, relationships, and data integrity in Raiser’s Edge NXT
  • Manage and support giving platforms, including event and online fundraising tools
  • Generate donor acknowledgments, receipts, pledge reminders, and giving statements
  • Track pledge schedules and coordinate follow-up on outstanding commitments
  • Provide professional, responsive donor communications and support
  • Collaborate on reporting, dashboards, and data requests with the Database Manager
  • Document procedures and follow gift acceptance and data best practices

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of CRM and gift processing experience in a development setting
  • Experience working with large data volumes and maintaining data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage detail-heavy workflows
  • Availability for occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Omatic Cloud, Power Automate, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, queries)
  • Experience with event or donation platforms (e.g., Greater Giving)
  • Skill in database queries, reporting, and emerging tools including AI

Schedule & Location
This is a hybrid role based in Portland, OR, typically requiring three in-office days per week in Northeast Portland. Schedule may shift based on operational needs, including occasional after-hours and off-site events.

Pay & Benefits
$55,631.24 – $60,789.76 annually.
