Communications Associate
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year for a 35 hour week, plus excellent benefits
Are you an emerging communications professional eager to apply your skills to make a difference? HereTogether is looking for a motivated Communications Associate to support our efforts to address homelessness in the Portland Metro region.
In this hands-on role, you'll assist in crafting engaging content, building community relationships, and implementing impactful communication strategies. Grow your skills while contributing to a critical cause.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of content for digital platforms
- Assist in creating stories that highlight personal experiences
- Help coordinate and plan communications initiatives
- Contribute to building partner and media relationships
- Provide support for trainings and projects
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Strong writing and storytelling abilities
- Familiarity with various communication channels
- Interest in audience-centric, adaptive messaging
- Enthusiasm for building collaborative relationships
- Good organizational and project coordination skills
- Openness to learning trauma-informed approaches
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
