The Clinician/Clinical Supervisor partners in our work of providing compassionate and collaborative mental health care to a wide variety of clients in an outpatient setting and provides clinical guidance and consultation to Registered Associates and Graduate Program Interns. A low acuity, diverse client population helps reduce burnout and allow full utilization of the change process in therapy. A wide variety of referral sources, and a group of colleagues who encourage professional growth and development, supportive office staff to assist with billing and paperwork, and flexible scheduling helps ensure a consistent client base and reduces the stressors associated with private practice or working with a high-volume for-profit agency. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Care (65%)
    • Maintain 15-20 hours direct counseling per week and early evening appointments at least two days a week
    • Provide consultation, assessment, and diagnosis for all clients
    • Maintain accurate and current client records and request authorizations as needed
    • Conduct occasional psycho-educational workshops or presentations
    • Adhere to professional practices for Mental Health Professionals
  2. Clinical Supervision (30%)
    • Provide clinical individual supervision 3-4 Registered Associate clinicians
    • Review and sign Registered Associates charts for third-party billing
    • Model and ensure that clinical care is trauma-informed and anti-oppressive
    • Assist with hiring and training new clinical staff
  3. Administrative and Education (5%)
    • Participate in staff meetings
    • Serve on Quality Assurance Committee as appointed
    • Support fund-raising activities
    • Keep current in areas of professional issues, reading, and education
    • Keep a current membership in a professional organization
    • Maintain professional license and CAQH credentials

Training and Qualifications:

  1. Valid Oregon mental health license REQUIRED
  2. Minimum of three years mental health licensure
  3. Must be Board Registered Supervisor Candidate, Board Approved Supervisor, or be able to be a Registered Associate Supervisor.
