GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Ideal candidates for this position love working outside and love working with kids! Recent graduates are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity to work with Northwest Regional Education Service District students in an unparalleled outdoor classroom. Students in Outdoor School receive an exciting environmental education and are able to explore their surroundings (mountains, forests, steams, and fields) 24 hours a day; be part of this experience with your nursing knowledge and help us give these students the best experience possible!
This position is overnight, requiring the employee to live on-site during the work week Monday-Friday. Room and board are provided. Our program operates at multiple sites in Northwest Oregon near the following communities; Vernonia, Salem, Cloverdale, Rockaway Beach, and one site TBD. This position is temporary, but there may be an opportunity available to continue employment in future sessions. Employee will be compensated 50 hours per week. Weekly schedule varies from Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday. Most work weeks are 5 days. Due to the seasonal camp-based nature of this position, it is exempt for state overtime wage regulations.
