Job Summary:
Administrative Coordinator performs office management and administrative duties for the programs, by coordinating services, tracking/monitoring reports specific to the funder and program outcomes, and ensuring youth case records are in compliance. In addition, this position performs the administrative portion related to facility requests, by tracking and coordinating with outside vendors or Morrison’s facilities department.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: ORR Immigrant Youth Services - PASO
PASO is a mid-level security (staff-secure) residential facility for adolescent boys. The youth are primarily from Latin American countries and occasionally from other areas of the world. They reside in our care, living in a 12- bed residential facility. To ensure the safety of the youth in the program, we maintain stricter security measures, such as higher staff to client ratio for supervision. This placement is for youth who do require a higher level of individualized support, but who are not appropriate for other, more acute, restrictive levels of care. Must be comfortable working with potentially adjudicated youth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • -Initiate and maintain a variety of files and records including youth case files and reports; maintain the department archive system.
  • · Maintains and updates program forms which may include policies and procedures.
  • · Collaborate with other agency and department staff on improving overall operations. Participate in Morrison program meetings as assigned.
  • · Assists Case Manager with travel arrangements, tracking of data as required by contractual and program requirements.
  • · Oversee orientation of the administrative functions for all new staff and interns in the department.

Education and Experience Requirements:
A typical background for the person who can fulfill the duties of this position is as follows:

  • -1-year employment experience which demonstrates office management experience
  • -Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and email.
  • -Attained age 21 years or older before first day of employment in position.

Valued Experience:

  • -Data Entry Experience
  • -Experience providing direct administrative and customer service support to a team of remote employees
  • -Bi-lingual in Spanish and English

Other Requirements:

  • -Pass a DHS criminal history background
  • -Meet agency driving requirements

Starting Pay Range:

Admin Coordinator: $17.60- $18.70/hour

Bilingual (Spanish) Admin Coordinator: $19.14- $20.33/hour
