The Restoration Associate will play a vital role in supporting Willamette Riverkeeper's Habitat Restoration program and assisting with various organizational events. This position is ideal for a dynamic, team-oriented individual passionate about environmental conservation and eager to make a tangible impact on the restoration of our natural resources. In this role, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of tasks, from hands-on fieldwork to importantadministrative functions. You will lead volunteer groups during invasive species removal projects, track project data, collaborate with contractors on restoration plans, and facilitate educational programs guiding groups on canoe and kayak navigation in moving water. Additionally, you will support grant writing, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with funding requirements. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our mission to restore and protect the Willamette River.
